#Napoles Senate Hearing is a SCAM – #ScrapPork #AbolishPork

#Napoles Senate Hearing is a SCAM – #ScrapPork #AbolishPork
Pinoys fell for it again. By “it” – I mean the latest soap opera that’s raking more ad revenue for Aquino’s crony media – ABS-CBN.
First and foremost, the Senate is not a court of law. It cannot render judgment nor convict Napoles .
Second, it’s not just Napoles that’s under scrutiny – it’s practically the entire legislative body (and the chief executive, too) itself.
It is foolhardy to let a party under investigation, investigate itself. That’s a recipe for a whitewash in the making.
If we are to seek justice, let the judiciary branch handle it – not the legislative branch. That’s a no-brainer!
These hearings in aid of legislation don’t do jackshit. All it does is manipulate the perception of people watching the proceedings.
I’ll wager that the Senate hearings is actually the PORKSTERS circling the bandwagon -  a situation where they have a common interests in diffusing the inevitable blame by arriving at a consensus solution.
Thus, no one has no stick their neck out: everyone provides political cover for everyone else.
NapolesHearing
#Napoles senate hearing is another soap opera. They can’t impeach Napoles that’s for sure.
Nor do they want this to get into a court of law – where the details of all the players can become actionable offenses. C’mon if this was really done impartially and objectively – we’ll wind up putting all the Senatongs and Tongressmen, Cabinet Secretaries, and the President – in Muntinglupa. – or better yet – sentence them to hard labor in Jolo.
Will it lead to a conviction? Most likely – it will end in Napoles becoming a Congresswoman or a Senator even – welcome to the Senatong and Tongressman club.
If people really wanna abolish the pork – then don’t vote for the usual Tongressmen and Senatongs whose only known modus operandi is to pass more useless regulation, more taxes, more public spending, more government agencies.
Moving forward – pork is just the tip of the iceberg – the core issue boils down to BIG GOVERNMENT which needs BIG TAXES to support its BIG SPENDING.
If you want to cut the head of the snake – get government out of the welfare business and get individuals to take care of their own personal welfare – it’s about being personally responsible for your own success or failure (which is but a lesson on how not to do things so as to not reap the negative consequences).
If there’s anyone who ought do the investigating – it should be the NBI – and not the Senate.
And if there were a person to head the investigation – I’d say that the resigned NBI director will be the man for the job.
We have three branches of government – executive, legislative, and judiciary.
It’s already bad that we have a rubber stamp legislative body. And now we have a legislative body arrogating the powers of the judiciary into itself.
This is absolutely FUCKED UP!
Oh well, perhaps what the judiciary has been blocked from doing – nature will do the job (you wish).
Yolanda

As Gat Rizal once said – “Like people, like government”.
Pinoys get the government they deserve.
They voted for crooks and they got crooks running the government and they wonder about all this pork barrel brouhaha?
That’s what they get for having a sense of entitlement – of feeling entitled to the income of other people just because they are poor.
If you are poor, here’s what you can do:
1 – learn new skills
2 - work harder and persevere
3 – continuously  seek opportunities without any government support
4 – Support the call to amend the constitution – remove the goddamn 60/40 so you can have more choices of employers – not the usual bloodsucking companies owned by the cronies of Aquino who pay you dirt cheap wages.
5 – Most of all, recognize the fact that you are poor because YOU chose to be poor – YOU CREATE YOUR OWN REALITY (YCYOR).
So, why are we in this mess? Because that’s what we asked for!
